Oliver Pavicevic + Steve Piccolo
A project conceived and curated by Eugenio Alberti Schatz in collaboration with the Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro, created thanks to the contribution by TSS (The Secular Society USA)
During the exhibition Arnaldo Pomodoro, in Sala degli Arazzi at Palazzo Reale visitors can enter virtually into the environmental work Entering the Labyrinth installed in the underground spaces of the former Riva-Calzoni building in Milan’s 35, via Solari, previously the Foundation’s exhibition space.
Labyr-Into is the free interpretation of a work in its 3D version – a work on the work, as well as within the work.
The navigation and reconstruction of the environments and interactions are realised by Olivier Pavicevic, starting with the 3D photometric scanning of the original environments. Sound is created by Steve Piccolo, using holophonic technologies on sounds produced within the labyrinth.
The visitor is invited to immerse him/herself in the virtual and interactive version of the labyrinth in a multisensorial and virtual reality experience, available in two versions based on two distinct technologies: Gear VR and HTC Vive.
